Tuesday - 3/9 - BREAKFAST at JOHNNY D's - 10 A.M. Thursday - 3/11 - CALLAWAY Winery at Temecula. Those signed up for the tour, meet at A.V. Town Hall Rec. Center at 7:30 A.M. Van leaves at 8 A.M. - returns about 6:30 P.M. Saturday - 3/13 - DANCE to GRUSOME TWOSOME - 7 to 10 P.M. - $3 Wednesday - 3/17 - LUNCH at LA FIESTA - 1 P.M. _____

Wednesday - 3/10 - DANCE at Woody Center (Navajo Rd. below Hwy 18) _____ Starting in March, 2008, we've been having a Birthday Cake for all the birthdays in the month at the first Singles meeting of the month. For starters, we are each chipping in 50 cents towards the cake. We may have to change this amount, depends on how this goes and what the costs really are. _____ BOWLING information - We bowl at the VICTOR BOWL on Wednesdays and Friday mornings at 9:30 EXCEPT the week of the General Meeting. On weeks when they have the General Meeting, we bowl on MONDAY and THURSDAY at 9:30. Everyone is welcome to join our group - We would love to have more bowlers. You can come either or both days - whether you are a pro or just beginning or in between. _______ FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE APPLE VALLEY SENIOR CITIZENS CLUB: Last Friday of each month - LUNCH 11 AM ($5) followed by GENERAL meeting at noon.
If anyone has some new ideas - places to go or things to do - please tell us. .Keep in mind we try to have the lunches where the prices are reasonable enough so more members can attend. .Also the restaurants should be able to accommodate large groups where we can all be seated together. This may keep some really good places out of reach for large groups, but remember that you can get together with a few others at any time, to go together to places you might like. .Perhaps meet for breakfast - or for coffee - or dinner at a really snazzy place! .You all have lists of our singles members, with phone numbers, etc. .Call someone and get acquainted.
NOTES TO NEW MEMBERS OF THE SINGLES GROUP:Many of our Singles group enjoy these Senior Club activities (for all Apple Valley Senior Club members, not just Singles): Free movies every Sunday at 1 P.M. at the clubhouse. Line dancing on Mondays (12 to 1 Beginners and 1 to 3 Intermediate) Cost $1 Ballroom dance class - 2nd and 4th Saturdays - 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Cost $1 (by appointment only) Dances on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and if there is a 5th - Saturdays. 7 to 10 PM. Bring your friends - they don't have to belong to the A.V. Senior Club Cost $3 General Meeting and lunch last Friday of each month. 11 AM. Lunch is $5. . Our Singles group reserves the first 1 or 2 tables near the front entrance of the building. Look for us there. Come early, have coffee and visit before the lunch is served. We start gathering after 10 AM.
